Konsep Fithrah Manusia dan Implikasinya Dalam Pendidikan Islam Oleh: Asep Pahrudin Abstract All human beings are born in a holy state and have the same potential. That is the essence of human nature. Education parental and the environment are the main factors that determine the direction of human life in the future. The concept of fitrah is not identical with the tabula rasa theory. John Locke's theory only considers that humans are pure white like a paper that has not been crossed out. Fitrah sees humans as more than just a white and clean paper, but in nature there is a potential that is owned by humans. That potential is the power or strength to accept religion or Tauhid. The implication is that Islamic education must be an effort aimed at developing the maximum potential of human nature so that humans have the ability to create something that is beneficial to themselves, society and their environment .
